The complex and technical nature of the songwriting reaches new heights as the songs continue to get more progressive. Each song offers a different take on what it means to be “tech death” while still harnessing the sound of Devils Reef. This concept EP will connect with fans of all styles of the genre and will offer something that is so familiar yet so unique.

Maryland based technical death metal band Devils Reef was founded in 2017 by guitarist Brady Allen and drummer Luka Stinar. The band plays a skillfully crafted combination of thrash and technical death metal with a main focus on eccentric yet memorable songwriting. Their blend of science fiction and horror themes make for a consistently otherworldly and evil soundscape that is furthered by the intensity of the genre.
Devil's Reef expands on the classic mix of death and thrash metal with a heavy, grooving rhythm section and eccentric songwriting style. Sci-fi/horror themes from the likes of authors such as HP Lovecraft and Donald Tyson are warped into a technical, erratic death metal soundscape to create the ultimate soundtrack to chaos.
